Zwischen Utrecht in Holland und San Antonio in Texas liegen erst einmal Welten, und doch haben diese beiden St\u00e4dte etwas gemeinsam. Sie sind Musterbeispiele daf\u00fcr, wie attraktiv urbanes Leben an einem kleinen Fluss sein kann.<\/p>\n<p>Aber unterschiedlicher k\u00f6nnte der Ansatz nicht sein. W\u00e4hrend sich Utrecht \u00fcber hunderte von Jahren entwickelt hat, ist der San Antonio River Walk das Resultat einer Arbeitsbeschaffungsma\u00dfnahme aus den 1930er Jahren. Dazu kommen noch komplett anderes Klima und Vegetation.<\/p>\n<p>Im Herbst 2024 hatte ich das Gl\u00fcck, beide St\u00e4dte kurz hintereinander besuchen zu d\u00fcrfen und hatte noch die eine Stadt im Kopf, als ich mich die andere beeindruckte.<\/p>\n<p>Hier sind ein paar Beispiele f\u00fcr die Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten.
